European Business Register

www.ebr.org
The European Business Register (EBR) is a network of National Business Registers and Information Providers from currently 28 European countries.

The EBR provides easy access to European company information online fresh from the source - each country’s official register. Registries in the Member Countries provide access to the data stored in their business registers. Data from across Europe is then made available through EBR in standardised reports. Information distributors use software provided by EBR in accordance with agreed technical conditions.

EBR is the coordinator of the EBOCS project. In addition, within the EBOCS Project, EBR acts as node between the consortium and the EU national business registers. In addition, jointly with Transcrime, EBR assesses, through questionnaires and interviews, the availability of information on the ownership and shareholding structure of EU unlisted companies, and helps to understand which information the EU business registers will be able to provide for feeding the AML intelligent system.
